    Featured Deluxe Hotels

    Torre Colonna ****

Located just steps away from the iconic Piazza Venezia in the classical heart of Rome, Torre Colonna is a sophisticated haven housed within one of the city’s most ancient medieval towers. Built in 1247 by the noble Colonna family, the tower stood at the edge of the family’s residence, a fortification that served to defend the property against attacks by foreign invaders and the power-hungry maneuvers of rival aristocratic families. The first inhabitant to actually live within the tower was Francesco Colonna, Count of Romagna and close friend of the great poet Francesco Petrarca (Petrarch).

    L'Andana_countrybredL’Andana *****

The result of a joint project between Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse and the revered Moretti wine and hospitality family, L’Andana is situated in the heart of Southern Tuscany’s Maremma. The hotel and the surrounding Tenuta La Badiola winery estate is dotted with cypress trees and olive trees in an idyllic countryside setting housed in a former Medici villa where the Grand Duke Leopold II and his court resided during the summer season. L’Andana has two main buildings, the Villa and the Fattoria, which are separated by a delightfully informal  Winter Garden, made of wrought-iron and glass. The interior design of the villa is a perfect combination of the original rural style of the Medici residence and decorative, more ornamental French style. Exclusive hotel amenities include the Michelin-starred Trattoria Toscana, ESPA spa center and winery.
