    Day 1


    Arrive in Milan Malpensa airport where you will be greeted by your private luxury chauffeur who will transport you to the onetime mighty maritime republic of Genoa that remains still today one of the most important and largest seaports in all of Europe. Arrive at your grand five-star hotel located in the historic core of the city for check-in. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure then in the evening indulge in an elegant Michelin-starred dinner of Genovese traditional fare reinterpreted at a locally revered restaurant.

    Day 2

Afterward tour the UNESCO honored Palazzi dei Rolli, the network of opulent 17th century palaces that line Via Garibaldi, where you’ll learn about Genoa’s heritage as a wealthy maritime power with strong ties to the New World.  Stop for a lunch of local specialties like minestrone al pesto, spaghetti allo scoglio and Ciuppin in the astoundingly well-preserved medieval center. End your day by visiting what is said to be Cristopher Columbus’s birthplace and childhood home, before traversing the antique grid of Genoa’s most historic streets and hidden piazzette arriving at the Cattedrale di San Lorenzo.

    Day 3


    Depart on a scenic driving tour with your local guide to the ancient fishing village of “Boccadasse” to take in its boutique art galleries, gelato shops and quaint beach. Next head to a nearby town known for its elegant 16th and 17th century villas, public green spaces and seaside promenades. Stop for a lunch of fresh fish in a noted waterfront trattoria before returning to Genova for a free evening.

    Day 4

Visit the town at your leisure before enjoying a lunch of local prawns and fresh caught seafood. After lunch depart for Sestri Levante to relax along the shore of its glorious Bay of Silence. Arrive at your hilltop castle turned luxury four-star accommodation perched above Sestri Levante’s breathtaking peninsula. Settle-in and spend the rest of your day enjoying the hotel’s private natural beach and lush gardens.

    Day 5

    Be intoxicated by exquisite Mediterranean views as your chauffeur and local expert accompany you along the Riviera coastline to the jewel toned dreamscapes of Santa Margherita and Portofino. Begin your day in Santa Margherita Ligure and enjoy a leisurley hike along a route of hidden abbeys that overlook the shores of Santa Margherita arriving to the charming harbor of Portofino where you’ll stop for a lunch of Riviera delicacies. After lunch, depart on a stunning boat ride to the Bay of San Fruttuoso to admire its waterfront abbey and charming beach. Return to Portofino by boat where your chauffeur will be awaiting to take you back to your hotel in Sestri Levante. In the evening delight in a dinner at a historic cantina in the heart of Sestri Levante.

    Day 6

After check-in to your premium sea view room ,your local guide will take you on scenic train to the quaint fishing hamlet of Riomaggiore at the southernmost point of Cinque Terre. Take a leisurely walk from Riomaggiore to the town of Manarola, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the Mediterranean along the way. In Manarola stop for a well deserved lunch of regional specialties then depart for Monterosso where you will visit the shop of an artisanal limoncino liqueur producer and sample their finest distillations. Spend some free time enjoying Monterosso’s vibrant seaside culture before returning to Vernazza via train in the early evening.

    Day 7

    lerici_liguria_private_tour_countrybredWhisk away via private chauffeur for a day of sightseeing in Lerici, coined the “pearl of the gulf” by Virginia Woolf.  Your local guide will lead you on a historical and literary walking tour of the town to admire its historic castle, that is said to have inspired Mary Shelley to write her iconic Frankenstein, as you stroll along the same waterfront promenade that conjured romantic musings from none other than Lord Byron. Savor lunch in the center of town before returning to Vernazza to enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

    Day 8

    Depart Vernazza for your return flight home or the next leg of your trip.
