Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Barcelona and be welcomed by your private chauffeur before traveling to the very heart of the Catalonian capital for check-in to your stunning hotel. Enjoy free time to get acquainted with the city at your own pace. In the evening, savor a special welcome dinner that will introduce to Barcelona's vibrant gastronomic scene.

Day 2

Today you will discover Barcelona's historic pedigree and signature architecture with the help of your local expert, an architect and expert in all things design. Begin with an exploration of the Barri Gotic with its ancient Roman vestiges and medieval splendor. From the ancients to the vanguards of Catalan Modernism, you will next set-off on a unique architectural tour to experience the visionary designs of Gaudi, Domenech and Puig, along some of the city's most luminous routes, such as the Passeig de Gracia. Lunch will be a celebration of good taste as you dine at a historic eatery where gourmet cuisine meets the artistry of Antoni Gaudi.

Day 3

Uncover Barcelona’s Mediterranean seafaring roots as you experience the colorful energy and local culture of the city’s Barceloneta seafront. Savor a lunch of typical Catalan seafood delicacies as fresh sea breezes lull you into complete relaxation. Enjoy the rest of the day free to discover Barcelona's phenomenal art museums, sophisticated boutiques, and cosmopolitan cafes, at your leisure.

Day 4

After breakfast your chauffeur will transport you north, along Catalonia’s sparkling Costa Brava. Arrive in the elite coastal town of S’Agaro for check-in to your luxurious five-star beach retreat nestled along the sea. Spend the day sunbathing at your hotel's spectacular sea-view pool or swimming in S’Agaro’s gentle turquoise waters. In the evening indulge in an elegant waterfront dinner of regional seafood specialties at one of S'Agaro's most acclaimed eateries.

Day 5

Today you will whisk away to experience the scenic coastal villages and vibrant viticulture of the Costa Brava. Visit a boutique winery nestled in the region's Baix Emporda wine appellation and delight in an exclusive tasting of their small-batch wines. Next, travel by chauffeur to the quaint seaside town of Calella de Palafrugell with its aquamarine waterfront lined by picturesque white-washed buildings. Enjoy a beachfront lunch of freshly-caught local seafood before exploring Calella at your leisure. In the afternoon spend time traversing the cobblestone streets of the medieval hilltop town of Begur, perfumed by coastal breezes and shaded by the town's majestic castle.

Day 6

Set off by chauffeur to encounter the Costa Brava of Salvador Dali’s prolific imagination. Arrive in the bucolic fishing village of Port Lligat, where Dali made his home for 52 years. Enjoy a guided tour of Dali’s former residence and workshop, the Dali House-Museum, where some of his most iconic works were created. Part time-capsule and part gallery suspended in time, the residence is an intimate look at the life of Dali and his wife Gala. Next, you will visit Cadaques, a town beloved for its signature white-washed buildings and azure blue waters. Sit down for an exquisite lunch inspired by the flavors of the Costa Brava but prepared with a decidedly modern, inventive flair. Enjoy free time to discover Cadaques at your own pace before returning to your hotel by chauffeur in the evening.

Day 7

Experience glorious Girona, a historic treasure in the heart of Catalonia's north. Set-off on a privately guided walking tour of the city’s most important cultural sights where your local expert will bring to life the brilliant history of Girona, beginning with its ancient Iberian origins and Roman past. Along the way experience the city’s ancient city walls and fortifications before visiting its main cathedral and the city’s historically significant Jewish quarter, know as El Call, which dates back to the 12th century. Stop to enjoy a lunch of typical dishes from the Girona province before visiting the city’s lovely Plaça de la Independència and Onyar river walk with exceptional views of the city’s distinctively colored houses, known as the cases de l’Onyar.
