Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan Airport and be welcomed by your private chauffeur who will transport you to the heart of Palma’s magnificent Old City. Check-in to your five-star boutique hotel nestled in the antique heart of the city and enjoy free time to relax or begin exploring Palma at your leisure. In the evening you’ll be transported by chauffeur to a chic restaurant revered for their contemporary take on Spanish cuisine, for an elegant welcome dinner.

Day 2

Experience the very essence of Palma with the helpful insights of your local expert. Set off on a private walking tour of Palma’s Old City with its atmospheric maze of narrow streets lined by Baroque mansions and secret patios. Along the way, learn about the city’s ancient roots spanning from the Romans and the Arabs to the Aragonese and Catalan. Next, you will delight in a visit to the bustling Mercat de Oliver market before stopping for lunch in a gourmet tavern. In the afternoon, visit the city’s iconic "La Seu” Cathedral, built in the Catalan Gothic style and featuring sweeping views out to sea. End your day with a fascinating look at Palma’s historic Jewish Quarter (el call), before stopping for a sweet treat of typical ensaimadas at an treasured antique cafe.

Day 3

Today you will explore the splendor of the Mallorcan countryside and its majestic Tramuntana Mountains. Begin your adventure by embarking on the Ferrocarril de Sóller, an antique train from the turn of the 20th century that will transport you on a scenic journey to the town of Sóller, suspended between the sea and the mountains. Arrive in Sóller where your private guide will bring to life this unique town famed for its historic cultivation of oranges, while you discover its intriguing blend of Modernist and traditional Mallorcan architecture. Later, travel by chauffeur to one of the area’s most ravishing coves for a lunch of fresh fish and other local seafood specialties, before setting off into the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana. Visit the lovely village of Valldemossa to discover its signature 17th century houses and winding stone streets, before stopping to admire the Palace of Rei Sanç, which hosted composer Frederic Chopin and writer George Sands in the 19th century.

Day 4

Before check-out, enjoy a leisurely morning to peruse the many boutique shops that can be found along Palma’s Avinguda Jaume III and the Passeig des Born. In the afternoon delight in a special tasting of Mallorcan wines led by a resident wine expert at his quaint wine shop. You will sample local cheeses as you learn about the island’s unique wine varietals. Your chauffeur will next transport you to Mallorca’s wine country where you’ll arrive at a renowned small batch winery to will learn about the island’s indigenous Manto Negro grape varietal, before partaking in an exclusive tasting. In the evening, you’ll arrive at your luxurious five-star countryside retreat and enjoy free time to relax and take in the estate’s exquisite countryside views. In the evening savor a chef’s tasting menu inspired by the island’s bounty at your hotel’s gourmet restaurant.

Day 5

Enjoy free time to independently hike or bike along the many pathways that wind through the Serra de Tramuntana landscape, using your hotel’s complimentary bikes. Or spend your free time rejuvenating at your hotel’s exceptional Spa. In the afternoon your chauffeur will arrive and you’ll depart for a visit to the ancient hilltop village of Pollença, located in the northern part of the Island, to learn about its ancient Roman, Moorish and Medieval past. Afterward visit the island’s stunning Cap de Formentor to take in stunning views of the coastline, before dining at an elegant restaurant overlooking the sea.

Day 6

After an early breakfast, check-out and depart by chauffeur for Mallorca’s northern port of Alcudia where you will depart on a scenic ferry boat ride to the island of Menorca. Arrive in Menorca and be welcomed by your chauffeur and your local expert, before setting off for the historic center of Ciutadella for a privately guided exploration of the town’s 17th century architecture while learning about its fascinating Carthaginian past. For lunch, feast on traditional Caldereta de Langosta (lobster stew) before checking in to either your five-star hotel situated in Ciutadella or your luxe Menorcan countryside retreat located at the island’s southern coast.

Day 7

Embark on a stunning private boat tour along Menorca’s unspoiled coastline. Along the way your boat captain will stop at some of the island’s most breathtaking coves where you’ll have free time to swim in the pristine waters and sunbathe at your leisure. For lunch you’ll experience the local tradition of the “chiringuito” (fish shack) for an al fresco meal inspired by the sea.

Day 8

Spend the morning learning about Menorca’s artisan traditions with the help of a local expert. Begin with a visit to a cheese farm prized for its production of Menorca’s traditional Mahon, culminating with a special tasting of the farm’s various aged cheeses. Afterward, visit a boutique gin distillery to learn about Menorca’s gin-producing heritage and enjoy a tasting of their premium distillations. Your chauffeur will next transport you to Mahon, the capital city of Menorca, where your local expert will lead you through its historic center. End your guided day with a lunch of traditional Menorcan fare at a charming eatery, before enjoying free time to continue discovering Mahon at your own pace.

Day 9

Say goodbye to Menorca and depart by chauffeur to the Aeropuerto de Menorca for your return flight or the next leg of your adventure.
