After free time to settle in, be greeted by your local expert in the late afternoon and set off to explore the tree lined boulevards and tranquil green spaces of the 16th, a true Parisian enclave secluded from the crowds. Next, you'll admire the triumphant glow of the city at night, as your local expert leads you to the Arc de Triomphe for an unparalleled panorama of the city from its viewing platform. This evening you will toast to the start of your Encounter while savoring a meal of traditional Parisian roasted chicken and other delectable dishes at one of the city's most revered gourmet eateries.

Today you will experience the wonderment of the iconic Louvre Museum under the expert guidance of an Art Historian, who will lead you through its singular collection of ancient artifacts and masterworks, from Babylon and Greece to the Italian Renaissance and French Revolution. From the Louvre your chauffeur will transport you to the city’s bohemian Latin Quarter for a lunch of quintessential bistro fare and free time to discover the neighborhood's meandering streets of antique book shops, petite cafes and vestiges of the city’s medieval past.

Day 3

This morning you will discover a glorious fixture of Parisian life, the outdoor street market, with a guided visit of the vibrant Marche de Bastille. Admire a flavorful mosaic of produce piled high as gourmet offerings like local saucisse and rustic cheeses are set out on delicious display. Next, travel by chauffeur to the atmospheric district of Montmartre, where once the greatest artistic minds of the 20th century nurtured their craft within the cobblestone charm of this tiny enclave of cafes and galleries. Your local expert will help you traverse its winding hilltop streets to glimpse a moment captured in time before visiting the Sacre-Cœur Basilica, standing majestic guard over the whole of Paris. Afterward, delight in a lunch celebrating regional charcuterie and cheeses from across France, before learning the art of preparing the perfect baguette at an award winning boulangerie.

Day 4

Embark on a day of art appreciation with the help of your local guide, a resident Art Historian, who will lead you on a thoughtful journey through the vanguard works of Impressionism, beginning with a visit to the illustrious Musee d'Orsay. Discover masterpieces by Van Gogh, Rousseau, Degas and Toulouse Lautrec, before traveling to the Musee de l'Orangerie to admire Monet’s breathtaking “Water Lilies” series, showcased in eight exquisite panels. Enjoy a free afternoon to independently explore the city and its countless chic boutiques and architectural treasures, like Notre Dame, with the assistance of your private chauffeur. In the evening be transported to one of the city's most coveted Michelin-starred restaurants for an exclusive fine dining experience.
