Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Milan where you will be greeted by your private chauffeur and transported to your five-star wine retreat nestled in the heart of Valpolicella wine country. After settling-in, depart for the historic winery of an acclaimed Bardolino DOCG producer and embark on a private winery tour followed by an exclusive barrel room tasting. In the evening return to your hotel to savor a dinner of contemporary Northern Italian fare at its acclaimed Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant.

Day 2

After breakfast, be greeted by your local expert and depart for Sirmione where your private boat will be waiting to transport you to one of Lake Garda’s most stunning and storied islands. Tour its noble villa and terraced gardens while learning about its role in Roman history. In the afternoon depart for one of Veneto's most revered and historic producers of Amarone for a private wine estate tour and tasting followed by an immersive cooking class with a local chef. You will crown your experience with a four-couse dinner of your own creations.

Day 3

From the picturesque vineyards surrounding Lake Garda you will travel to the famed wine country of Soave. Spend the morning at the wine estate of a renowned wine producing family specialized in Soave white wines before savoring Veronese traditional dishes at a gourmet osteria. In the afternoon set-off for the UNESCO heritage city of Verona for check-in to your chic, four-star boutique hotel located just minutes from the city’s famed Arena.

Day 4

Today you will depart on a fascinating look at underground Verona, led by your local expert. Along the way, visit the city's most compelling archaeological ruins, which date back to Roman and medieval times. Delight in a lunch of authentic regional recipes at a traditional Veronese eatery, before spending the rest of the afternoon exploring the lovely Giusti Gardens and the city’s illustrious bridges and piazzas.

Day 5

From Verona you will continue your adventure through Veneto with a special look at the UNESCO world heritage architecture of Andrea Palladio in Vicenza. Meet your local art historian who will help you discover the architectural ingenuity of Palladio and the importance of his work as related to the region’s social and political history. Stop for a rustic lunch at an organic countryside farm specialized in producing small batch olive oils then depart for the city of Padua to explore its artistic pedigree through such treasures as Giotto’s Last Judgment in the Scrovegni Chapel, and Donatello’s Gattamelata statue. In the early evening your chauffeur will transport you to Venice, where your private boat will be waiting to transfer you to your enchanting four-star, canal front hotel. Check-in and enjoy a free evening to get acquainted with the city at your own pace.

Day 6

Delve into the unique culture and history of the Venetian way of life as you set off for a day exploring the city’s hidden canals by gondola and on foot. Experience the Rialto Market, the daily meeting place for locals seeking the freshest produce in the city, and indulge on a lunch of typical cicchetti at one of the city’s oldest taverns. Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying Venice at your leisure then in the evening depart by private boat for the island of Mazzorbo where you will enjoy an elegant dinner paired with Venice's native Dorona wine at the restaurant of a gourmet wine estate.

Day 7

After breakfast, depart Venice via private boat and chauffeur for Venice Marco Polo Airport, in preparation for your return flight or the next leg of your adventure.
