Palazzo Seneca

With an original structure dating back to the 16th century, Palazzo Seneca was one of the first hotels to be established in Umbria and has been proudly operating since the early 1900s. The four-star Relais & Chateaux hotel maintains its historic charm with such precious details as old stone floors and original barrel vaulted ceilings. The property is today owned and operated by the Bianconi family who remain passionate about hospitality, a family tradition since 1850.

The elegant palazzo is set in the idyllic setting of Norcia nestled in the Sibillini National Park. A center for Umbrian gastronomy and most noted for some of the world’s finest black truffles, the town of Norcia is a culinary haven dotted with “norcineria” butcher shops, caciotta cheese farms, truffle shops, and artisan beer producers.

Palazzo Seneca offers 24 exclusive guest rooms featuring king size beds and modern amenities, including flat screen televisions and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel also houses a wellness center equipped with a sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and jacuzzi, as well as the noted Vespasia restaurant, which serves a seasonal menu of Umbrian classics featuring artisanal products from nearby producers.
