Villa Crespi

Villa Crespi, a luxurious 5 star hotel with two Michelin star awarded Restaurant, in the heart of Piedmont, on Lake Orta. Villa Crespi enjoys the superb natural setting of Lake Orta, the most romantic of all the Italian lakes, in the heart of Piedmont.

In 1879 successful cotton merchant Cristoforo Benigno Crespi built Villa Crespi in authentic middle eastern style with an unusual feature, its very own minaret inspired by the fascinating splendour of Baghdad’s architecture. During the 1930’s literary figures, captains of industry and the Italian King at that time, Umberto of Savoy, were regular guest there. After a period as a place of spiritual retreat, Villa Crespi was converted at the end of the 1980’s into an exclusive hotel where nature, art and history entwine.

Villa Crespi offers 6 Deluxe rooms and 8 Suites, all furnished with air?conditioning, direct dial phone, satellite TV and Sky, mini?bar and safe. The hotel’s additional services include Wi-fi technology throughout the villa, room service, a Lounge Bar for moments of sheer relaxation, a beautiful garden with relaxation area and comfortable sunbeds, and massages and beauty treatments. The villa’s two Michelin starred restaurant is made up of three rooms and the veranda, four distinct areas that are joined by typically Moorish doorways, allowing movement between each and all of them, allowing for greater or lesser intimacy according to the desires of the diners. Antonino Cannavacciuolo is the Grand Chef patron of this fine restaurant. From the Sorrento peninsula, Antonino has always been dynamic, forthright and enterprising, and has created a cuisine of the finest raw materials, distinctive flavors that are a fusion of past and present.
